- This sheriff in Kentucky is confusing the sovereignty of his state with the sovereign powers of the federal government. Who would he call if terrorists took over the Frankfort, Kentucky? Kentucky may have a national guard, but they cannot unilaterally fight wars against other sovereign nations.

- Its hard to believe Rep. Phil Gingrey actually practiced medicine or has a viable medical degree. Perhaps he is suffering from dementia or alzheimer's disease. He's 70 years old and not practicing medicine any longer. There is probably a good reason for that.

- Florida is a state where you can buy a fully automatic 9mm TEC 9 with high capacity clips for $200. Perhaps that's the reason for the high number of concealed weapon permits. Floridians would be well advised to buy and wear a Category IV bullet proof vest as well.
